Mizoram lies in the North-Eastern part of India. 2nd highest Literacy rate In India, Mizoram is.primarily an agrarian state, where some major horticulture crops grown include oranges, banana, pineapple, and cabbage. The state, where 101,000 ha of land is available for oil palm cultivation, has seen growth in investments with offered state incentives.
and shares 722 km of international border with Myanmar and Bangladesh. Major rivers flowing through the state, such as Tiawng and Tiau, provide hydroelectric power potential of 4,500 MW that's sufficient to meet energy requirements o the state. The state is well-connected to the rest o the country with an airport in Lengpui and has an 8,500 km long road network.
